TLAJAEU SHOW. By Telegraph —Press Association. Tiniaru, Last Night. 'Entries for the Tiniaru show are about the same as last year, namely:—Sheep 368, horses 330, cattle 51, dogs .50. NAVY LEAGUE Timaru. Last Night. The Tiniaru branch of the Navy League is actively pursuing ils objects. This afternoon it celebrated Trafalgar Day by a gymkana on the Athletic 'grounds. They had an attractive programme, but the wintry wind and threatening rain kept down the attendance. About £4O was talken.
LABOR AND NO-LICENSE. Dunedin, October IS. The Labor Party's win at the West Australian elections means more than the cablegrams stated. Air. O. B. Nicholls to-day received a copy of the "Reformer," the No-license Party's paper published at Perth, which states that the No-license party put all its force behind the Labor Party, and that the Labor Party, now on top, is pledged to immediate local option oil the bare majority.
