THE PHARMACY ACT. By Telegraph —Press Association. Wellington, Yesterday. Mr. liuddo was interviewed last night by a deputation from the. Pharmacy Board, which asked for an amendment of (he Pharmacy Act as follows: —■ First, that the age at which candidates were permitted to enter the preliminary examination for pharmacists be lowered from IS to 1G; .secondly that the board be given power to expend some of its funds in promoting technical education. The deputation stated that in Duncdin chemists were paying, at their own costs, for the technical instruction of their apprentices. The Minister, in reply, said that the first request of the deputation seemed unite reasonable, and the second was very commendable, but he would'prefer to (leal with the matter in the early part of the new session. He would lay the representations before the Government, but could hold out no great hope that anything would be. done this sesgioi.

FIXD OF SKELETON'S. Whangarei, Yesterday. An investigation to-day revealed the broken remains of three other skeletons in the vicinity of yesterday's discovery.
