IS THE FLY THE CAUSE? By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 18, 9.35 p.m. London, October 18. The Sleeping Sickness Commission, under the auspices of the Government and the Royal Society, with Sir David Bruce as leader, are proceeding to Nyassaland with a view to enquiring if the existence of the fly is responsible for the disease. It depends upon the presence of big game. If so, it may involve the wholesale destruction of the latter. Lady Bruce accompanies her husband.
