There was a good attendance at tlio sale of railway lands by Mr. Newton King at the Good TemplaT Hall last night. Except for two sections, bidding was slack. Lot 1, 47y 3 ft. frontage to Devon street, adjoining Mr. King's auction Mart, was purchased by Mr. Newton King at £9O a foot. Lot 8, fronting Vivian street.—Mr. K. C. Hughes, £375. Lot 18, fronting Lemon and iLiardct streets—Mr. G. H. Maunder, £350. Lot 26, fronting Gill street, part of Huatoki stream—Mr. M. A. Earp, £430. Lot 115, fronting Lemon street.—Mr. Wetter, £22. This is a strip six feet wide. Lot 27, back of Taranaki Hotel, part of Huatoki stream.—Mr. Mcintosh,£3oo. Lot 13b, fronting New Gover street and Buller street—Mr. W. C. Phillips, £215.
