THE PEACOCK CASE. By Cubic—Press Association—Copyright. Melbourne. October 17. The trial of Dr. Peacock has commenced. Accused challenged twenty jurors without explanation, and the Crown challenged eighteen. The evidence, which was similar to that in the police court, was not concluded. Dr. Peacock is accused of having disposed of the body of a girl who died in his hospital after an alleged illegal operation.
