Received Hi. 1.1.40 p.m. Tripoli. October 10. Twenty transports, bringing fifteen thousand, are expected to-day. The Italians stopped caravans of 120 camels laden with flour and other provisions for the Turks. The latter made renewed and brisk attacks at Humilila Wells with a view to diverting attention from the passage of the caravan. They were repulsed, losing a Maxim gun. Two hundred were wounded in the various engagements. Rifles had been distributed to any applicant. with the result that everyone in Tripoli was in possession of a ..Mauser rillc which they were unable to use. and gladly surrendered them in response to ticiu'ral C'ogni's offer.
