~ SUSQLARY AND FORECAST. j By Telegraph—Press Association. j Wellington, Last Night, j The Meteorological Office has issued the following summary and forecast: —i A westerly storm area has developed and ] rain has fallen in many parts of the country. High northerly winds have prevailed, and the barometer has fallen everywhere. Present indications are for rain* and cloudy weather generally, with a further fall in the barometer in most parts of the country, but a temporary rise ia anticipated shortly in the south. High northerly and westerly winds will probably predominate, but a change to tlie southward for a short time may be looked for soon.
