The Government forces occupied Ramadan twelve hours after Salar-ed-Dowleh disbanded his troops and left for Europe via Baghdad, declaring that he would return in the spring with better military equipment.

TROUBLE AT TEHERAN. RAID ON A CONSULATE. Received 11, 1.15 a.m. London, October 10. One hundred and fifty were killed during a raid at Teheran on the Russian Consulate. The officials, with twelve Cossacks, threatened to fire on the gendarmes who wwn sent at General Shustcr's instance to seize the Sultaneh's property. The gendarmes withdrew.
