THE KUECTIOX OK A R WINERY. A letter from Mr. C. Carle* has been received, together with a copy of the agreement for sale of the 'laranaki Petroleum Company's properly, which is conyidori'd very satisfactory. .Mr. Carter says the new company will erect a refinery and take up the refining business generally. They will get estimates for plant, etc. AIV. Carter expects to forward the prospectus by the next mail, and the date will tlion lie known at which application for shares can be made. There are many enquiries for oil., lint the company can only supply small quantities for experimental purposes at present.
