KO MORE OPPOSITION IN TRIPOLI. THE TURKS' INFERIORTY. By G.ble—Press Association—Copyright Rome, October C. The Journal d'ltalia states that sailors landed from the warships Garibaldi, Vaiwse and Femccio, and explored Tripoli. They did not meet with any resistance. They visited the Italian Consulate and the church, where the Fransciscan nuns and monks were safe. They found the city abandoned. The Government has peremptorily forbidden the warships, to carry out military operations on the Adriatic and lonian coasts.
Five thousand native soldiers at Citrea have volunteered for service in Tripoli. It is officially stated that the Italians have occupied the town of Tripoli. It is officially stated that after the sailors landed at the Sultaneih Fort at Tripoli, a numbers of Arabs belonging to the neighborhood proceeded to the flagship and tendered their submission.
The German Consul-General asked the Admiral to assume control of public order, the Turks having abandoned the town-.

Admiral Faravefli spared the Governor's place. The bombardment did not injure foreigners' residences.
The Italians buried the Turkish dead with military honors, and conveyed twenty badly wounded men to the fleet hospital. The Turks removed the less seriously injured. Those in hospital declare that resistance was impossible'owing to the inferiority of the Turks in numbers and equipment. It is officially stated that fire was treacherously opened at San Giovanni-did-Medua upon an Italian vessel flying the white flag. The destroyer Artigliere, which was patrolling to prevent smuggling of arms into Albania, intervened and was slightly damaged and the commander wounded.
TOBRUK OCCUPIED. ITALIAN* CRUISERS RECALLED. Received 8, 5.5 p.m. Rome, October 7. Admiral Aubry has occupied Tobruk, in the Gulf of Bomha. Italy has recalled her cruisers from Albania in consequence of the Artiglier incident.
