QUICK AND EFFECTIVE llautere Itoad. Otaki. The (lane Milking Machine Co.. Ltd.. Eltham. Sirs.— I have much pleasure in eertifving (hat the (iaue Milking Machine (H-cow plant) purchased by us from you ill September of 1010 has been used ever sinee tliat date and has given every satisfaction. It is easy to work, and we have managed to milk 42 cows in one hour and twenty-live minutes willi a man and a hov. On several occasions the boy milked the 42 cows himself in about two hours and a-<|iiarter, using only two machines, while the men were away or delayed in returning home. It sticks on well and milks hard cows that would not be milked by hand. Old cows or heifers soon get used to it. The great advantage of the (iane is that the milk goes straight from the cows to the cans without the delay of shifting cans. It takes only about the same time to wash up as is required with the bucket plants, and we find after starting a second season no trouble in keeping the tubes and pipes clean, the sucking through the tubes of cold and then hot water being very simple for cleaning purpose--. If ordering another plant we should certainly take a (lane in preference to any other we have seen, and we have watolled a good manv other machines work. Yours trulv. V. ('.' JOXES (per F.V. & It. 0. .Tones). P.N.—The, Crossley oil engine works smoothly and well in the running of the plant.
