As time went on they might expect keen competition for the disposal of their products, but increased scientific methods of fanning would insure success. He advised them not to put all their eggs in one basket. The growers of fruit should also be small farmers, lie rejoiced to come to Hawke's Bay among the warm-hearted fanners and loyal l citizens, loyal to their country, to Imperialism, and to the King.
