I The Meteorological Office has issued the following summary and forecast:— The weather has been unsettled in the extreme north, but mild and fine weather has prevailed with variable winds. Present indications are for fair weather generally, but unsettled and. hazy at times, especially in the northern and wmtheTwnOst districts. Moderate to strong easterly winds northward of East Cape and Kawhia, and westerly winds in Foveaux Strait, but variable chiefly land and eea breezes elsewhere, with little movement of the barometer.
