The Lawn Tennis Association has received a cable announcing that America has accepted the original dates December 30 and 31 for the Davis Cup. STRATFORD CLUR MEETINGS . At tbe annual meeting of (be Stratford Club the balance-sheet showed a loss of £l4 7s !)d on. the year's working, but this hardly repre.-enled the position, as two years' Inrliiig had been charged to this year's accounts, owing to the alteration of the date of the annual meeting. The revenue from suh-se-riptioms was £53 ids. The overdraft had been reduced by £0 2s (id, the usual proportion, and now stood at £O2 2s. Assets showed a big margin over liabilities. Officers were elected as follows: President. Mr. W. TI. II Young; vicepresidents, Messrs. F. W. Wake. T. C. Fookcs. V. N. Fussell, and Drs. Carbery and Paget; secretary and treasurer, Mr. V. Orawishaw; committee, Messrs. L. Curtis, F. W. Wake. O. W. Vaughan, R. 15. Anderson, and Young; auditor, Mr. A. Coleman. The W.Y.M.T. Club held its annual meeting on Monday. Officers were elected: President, Rev. C. C. Harrison; vicepresidents, Messrs. J. Masters, ,1. W. Boon, R. 11. Cameron, and W. Wilson; executive committee, Messrs. Sehofield and W. Everiss; secretary, Mr. George Griffin. The courts were reported to be in good order, and play is expected to commence in the third week of this month. —Abridged from Post.
