TARANAKI WOOL, SKIN. IHDE AND TALLOW SALES. MR. NEWTON KINO'S REPORT. On Tuesday, September 20. I held my usual four-weekly sale of above produce, the catalogue comprising 1020 hides. 3811 sheepskins, 13 bales and 81) sacks wool, 1.1 casks and OS tins tallow. 7701 calfskins, and the usual quantity of horsehair, bones, tails, etc. Wool and skins, following on the drop in the London market, were easier, and declined fully one farthing per lb. Hides, damaged and faulty, were much easier. Average lines of cow were on a par with late rates, whilst superior advanced one farthing . Stout ox also showed an advance of a halfpenny to three-farthings, one line of 24 stout ox realising the excellent price of !ld per lb Tallow advanced I,ls per ton.
