WAY BENEFIT. I Tlio euchre party and dance to be held to-morrow evening at the Good Templars' Hall in aid of the Way Benefit Fund is sure to find favor. All arrangements are well in hand for an enjoyable evening. THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE. Assistance has generously been forthcoming from many directions to contribute to make the production of the "Pirates of Penzance" next week an unqualified success. The model stage shown last week in Messrs. Collier's window, giving a sketch in colors to scale of the second act, has been displaced this week by a sketch of the first act. This show.-, a rocky promontory on the Cornish coast, with seascape and sandy foreshore. Mr. Bradbury can most heartily be congratulated on his well-drawn scheme arid I happy tone color. The previously shown j second act was the subject of most favorable comment. The later one, of a totally different character, is an equally' charming piece of artistic work. Messrs. Ilolah Bros., of the Motor Garage, have ! generously consented to supply and operate the limelight effects. The Society are most fortunate in obtaining such generous and capable assistance. ' 'Tlje | box plan will be opened on Thursday at Messrs. Collier's. Patrons will do wqll \ to secure an early booking, as the whole production promises to be on a scale io ) compare favorably with anything of tbe kind previously attempted. j
