DISORDER IN PORTUGAL.
MONARCHISTS CAPTURED. By Gable—Press Association—Copyright Lisbon, October 1. The Catholic Club was raided at Oporto and a hundred armed Monarchists captured, after a sharp fight with the police. Other arrests are expected. TROOPS MOUNT QUICK-FIRERS. MOB WRECK CATHOLIC BUILDINGS. Received 2, 11 p.m. Oporto, October 2. Three hundred arrests were made. Troops surrounded the Crystal Palace, a pleasure resort, and mounted quick-firers. When challenged, the alleged plotters surrendered. The mob wrecked a number of Catholic houses, and fired the Catholic, club. Troops charged them, wounding several.
