DISASTROUS GALE
IN TIIE NORTH SEA. MANY WRECKS AND LOSS OF LTFE. BIG LINERS ASsHOKE. Received 2, 10.45 p.m. London, October 2. A gale with a velocity of sixty miles is raging in the North Sea. Many wrecks and loss of life have occurred amongst the fishing smacks, particularly those belonging to Lowestoft. Paris, October 2. The Hamburg-American liner Konig Friedvich Augustc dragged its aneliOT and grounded in the Boulogne harbor. A Flushing pilot boat was wrecked and four drowned. The steamer City of Bennies is ashore at West Capclle. Ten were drowned. A number of large steamers arc ashore in the Scheldt.
