Ivo sooner is there a settlement arranged between France anil Germany than we have Turkey and Italy lookiug daggers at one another over Tripoli. Will there be a fight? We think not. The Turks will revert to the boycott, which is a powerful weapon. We wish the consumers of tea in Xcw Zealand would exercise the boycott against inferior teas. The best teas are the Empire Company's teas, which are pure and' wholesome. No dairyman or farmer can afford to be without a copy of Sykes's Journal for 1911. It is compiled in a very interesting manner, and in addition to its great utility on the farm has much information that must prove invaluable. Tables for recording each day's milking for the year are given, also memoranda of stock purchased and sold, breeding table, herd register, seed sowing table, etc. In fact the Journal is full of information that every dairyman must know to be successful. Copies can be obtained on application.—Advt.
