A GREAT BATTLE
FIGIITTNG IN PERSIA. FOUR HUNDRED KILLED. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 29, 10 p.m. Teheran, September 29. A great battle took place between the Government forces and the Nauberaus and Salarcddowles. The latter lost 400 killed and 200 prisoners. Seven guns were captured. The defeated troops arc retreating to Ramadan, with the Government troops in pursuit. It is reported that the ex-Shah'is near Astrabad, with 400 Persians. Russian Turcomans seized and killed a Turcoman deputy of the Mejliss.
