MOTOR BUS FALLS INTO RIVER

A motor 'bus of new pattern, with no outside seats, was crossing the Ponl-lU'-L'Archevi'qup in Paris when it swerved, demolished the parapet, and fell into the Seine. At the. moment of skidding some passengers saved themselves by jumping through open windows; others on (hi! outside platform scrambled on to the roof. Abbe Richard, of Rcllcy. was ami ngst those immersed. The driver was rescued from the 'lms at the bottom of the Seine. Tt is feared that sixteen persons were drowned. Ten persons havt been taken to hospital.
