rpiE Council of tlie Borough of New Plymouth hereby gives Public Notice that it proposes to borrow, by way of Special Loan, the sum of iT12,000 ,at .a interest npt, exceeding £5 per centum per annum, with a Sinking Fund of Vi per cent. additional, th<* whole of the. Loan to be repayable oil tin* first day of October. 1022; and to be for .the following purposes:— To provide additions and extensions t.o the Electric Lighting, -either within or without the Borough, and to supply electricity ; to acquire, ip connection with such additions and extensions, lands casements and appurtenance* a nil buildings, engines, machinery and other things; to pay compensation to any person injuriously affected; and any other purpose incidental to or in relation to any of'the above purposes. The Council proposes to pledge, as security for the said Loan of £12,000 and the interest and sinking fund therfcon,;rn annually recurring Special Rate of Threepence (3d) in the £ on the annual value of all rateable property in the Mid Borough.
