SUMMARY AND FORECAST. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, I*ist Night. The 'Meteorological Office has issued the following summary and forecast: — A westerly area of low pressure of moderate intensity has passed in the south and affected the 'weather conditions everywhere, but especially on the western coast of both islands. Present indications axe for moderate to strong westerly winds, veering to south. The barometer will probably rise everywhere soon. Changeable conditions are now reported, and unsettled and cloudy weather may be looked for at times in most parts of the country, and precede fair weather generally.
