ITALY'S DESIGN'S OS TRIPOLI.

By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Rome, September 21. There are evidences that Italy is preparing to occupy Tripoli. Two squadrons are being formed. One, it is believed, is to act as a safeguard for Tripoli, and the other for Italian interests in the Levant.

THE PORTE UNEASY. Constantinople, September 21. .The Porte is uneasy at the reported Italian activity in Tripoli. A hundred Tripolitan notables have sent an address to the Grand Vizier of Turkey, stating that the entire population would shed the last drop of blood sooner than be crushed under Italy's heel. The notables demand ammunition and fortifications. Tripoli belongs to Turkey, but is in the Italian sphere of influence.
