'Die steamer Regulua had a rough time crossing the bar inwards this morning. iSlie got broadside on, but the captain, by working his engines, managed to keep her in the channel, and she was blown sideways into the river. WATERING MILK. Wanganui, Wednesday. At the Magistrate's Court this morning, James McKenzie was fined £5 .for selling to a factory milk which contained !) per cent, more water than was allowed by the regulations.
EMPLOYERS' FEDERATION. Wellington, Wednesday. The officers of the Employers' Federation have been selected as follows: President, Mr. W. Hopkirk; vice-presi-dent, Mr. T. S. Weston; treasurer, Mr. R. H. Scott; trustee, Mr. W. II." Bennett; auditor, Mr. W. C. Stephens. The members of the Advisory Board were elected to the Parliamentary committee.
