The Kapuni left Patea on Monday for Wellington with a cargo of butter, but she encountered a gale and was unable to get through the Straits. She suffered damage to her discharge pipe and the captain decided to turn back and make for New Plymouth, arriving as stated. It is hoped that the repairs will be completed to-day, when the little vessel, after replenishing her bunkers, will make an attempt to reach. Wellington.
THE KOONYA. The Koonya was unable to get through Cook Straits on Tuesday, but-was expected to resume her voyage last night, and should arrive here to-day. Her cargo amounts to 350 tons. THE ROSAMOND. • The Rosamond has been weather-bound at Wellington, and it is doubtful whether she will arrive here to-day. The usual call at Nelson will be omitted this trip. OVERSEA VESSELS.
