The Corinna arrived from Onehunga yesterday morning and sailed in the afternoon for Wellington, taking away 146 tons of cargo, including 3074 boxes of butter i(for transhipment to the Ruapehu). THE KOONYA. The Koonya sailed from Wellington yesterday for New Plymouth and is due here this morning. ANTI-ROLLING TANKS. The new Cunard liner Lnconia, of 25.000 tons 'displacement, which was launched at Wallsend-on-Tyne recently, is fitted with llerr Frahm's anti-rolling tanks.. Two water-tanks, one on each side of the ship, are connected by air trunks and passages, and the rolling of the. ship is checked by the water flowing from one side to the other through the passages.. The. water in the tanks can be regulated to suit the circumstances. It is claimed that this invention reduces to the minimum any possible discomfort due to the movements of the ship.
