EARTHQUAKE IN CHILI
RAILWAYS SUSPENDED. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright Santiago, September 18. The strongest earthquake shock since 1876 caused some damage in the nitrate districts. The railways have suspended traffic. TWENTY FATALITIES. Received 19, 11 p.m. Valparaiso, September 19. Twenty fatalities have resulted from the earthquake in the towns of Xegretos, Arica and Tacna.
