Nelson, o.r.p. I The application of J. Phillips will be ' recommended for approval under section I 129 of the Land Act, 1908, at a capital j value of 25s per acre. The application ,of N. Nelson was approved, but the Board could not reduce the valuation for improvements unless the same were reoffered to public competition. TRANSFERS. Plans of 22 sections in blocks 1, 2, 3, and 4, Rangi S.D., and block 11, Tangitu, recently surveyed by Mr. W. Laing, District Surveyor, were laid on the table. —Resolved that the land be offered for sale or selection under .part. 3 of the Land Act, 1008, at prices to'be agreed upon between the Commissioner and the Commissioner of Crown Lands, Wellington, after the land has been valued by the surveyor and Mr. Lundins, Crown lands ranger. Gif kins attended the meeting with reference to own residence on section 5, block 0, Kapara.—Under the cirj cumstances, leave of absence was granted during the pleasure of the Board. W. ■(.}. Fargie asked for section 22, block I', Mahoe, reserved for gravel, to be added to his holding.—Ranger to report. Mr. A. liatrick waited on the Board with Mr. Grey (Wilson and Grey) with regard to section 3, block 15, Ohura. — After hearing their representations, the Board decided that the section be offered by public auction for cash at a total upset price of £I3BB 10s, including, improvements.
