Emly in the second spell Auckland overran Poverty Bay, the local score quickly mounted to 24. Poverty Bay then scored I! points, and just on the call of time Auckland added another 5 points. Erefenna [jotted a goal, and Douglas and Aorere scored tries for Poverty Bay, while Macky (2), (VLenry, Wilson (2), McGregor, and Bruce scored tries for Auckland, of which O'Leary converted two and Macky and one each. Mr. F. Spurdle, of Tarnnaki, was referee.
