DISTRICT NEWS.
INGLFAVOOD. (From Our Own Correspondent). On Sunday morning Mr. Dromboskl had a very narrow escape from serious injury. As lie was riding to church his horse took fright at n child who was waving a stick about, and shied, throwing him heavily to the ground. He was assisted to the residence of Mr. Rolston, who administered restoratives, and after a little while was able to go on his way. At the last meeting of the Technical school committee it was decided to nsk Mr. Gordon, the noted utility poultry, keeping expert, to give a lecture here. This ho has consented to do. The lecture takes place on Tuesday night, Iflth inst. There is no charge for admission, and anyone who is interested in poultry keeping is invited to attend. The committee has resolved to start a poultry class, and this lecture should be of great help. An old identity, in the person of Mr. 0. C. Spindle, sen., passed away this (Monday) morning. The •funeral will take place on Wednesday.
