ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
OLD MAX'S DEATH. By Telegraph—Press Association. Christclntrch, Last Night. George Ruddock, about seventy years of age, was found dead in his garden at Seftou last night. He had heen dead about a week. There were no marks of violence on him. INQUEST. C'hristeluireh, Last Night. An inquest was held this afternoon into the circumstances connected with the death of William Robert Bright, G4 years of age, who died suddenly last night. Dr. Femvick said he had made a post mortem examination, and that death was due to sudden failure of a very diseased heart There 1 were evidences of syrosis. The coroner returned a verdict that the deceased died from heart disease. FATAL TRAP ACCIDENT. Levin, Saturday. Sarah Gyles, wife of J. Gyles, jjf Ohau, met her death yesterday on the road south of Levin. A motor cyclist. Thomas Murphy, had passed the trap and just afterwards .found the horse, had shied and precipitated 'both occupants to the, road. The husband was merely shaken, but on. medical aid being summoned.the wife was found to l>e dead. The surmise is that the cause of death was shock to the system An inquest will he held today. "
