Miss Ethel Le Nevu. champion tennis player, claims to be a niece of the late Richard Portingal Smith, the Canadian oil millionaire, and is setting enquiries afoot as to her possible claims under the will. Her mother, who was Smith's sister, died twelve years ago. Mrs. Stewart, of Beecliworth, another of Smith's sisters, died eighteen months ago.
