The Royal Academy of Music (London) examinations, held by Mr. Redman, R.A.M.. have just concluded, and it is a significant fact that the choice of instrument for the purpose again fell, as it invariably seems to do. on the Brinsmead piano, as was also the case in the Trinity College (London) examinations held here and elsewhere. Such discrimination on the part of the leading musical faculty cannot prove other than an unerring guide to the most fastidious in the selection of a piano. Whilst expressing his utmost appreciation of the unparalleled suitability of the Brinsmead piano for purposes where purity of tone plays such an important part in these severe tests, Mr. Redman spoke in the most eulogistic terms of the remarkably responsive touch which is such a distinguishing characteristic of the Brinsmead piano.*
