The consignments of Welsh coal to Scotland, Hull, "Newcastle and other ports were sent by rail instead of by *hip. The extra, cost was six shillings per ton and the waggons were labelled "urgent." The action is represented as being merely an experiment in rapid despatch.
In addition to the collieries on Hip Admiralty list other Welsh collieries have received urgent 'orders for steam coal. FRANCE'S TERMS. COMPENSATION IN CENTRAL AFRICA. London, September 13.
