Wellington, Last Night. ■Following is the Government Meteortklogist's weather summary and forecast:—The barometer has continued high and somewhat unsteady, but little change is Recorded. The weather has been unsettled at times in the northernmost districts, but fine weather has prevailed ■with strong easterly winds in the far north, but variable winds elsewhere. Present indications are for fine weather generally, with moderate to strong easterly winds in the far north and westerly winds in the southernmost districts, and land and Bea breezes elsewhere. The barometer has a falling tendency.
