, SUMMARY AND FORECAST. ' By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Following is the Meteorological Office weathef summary and forecast: The tonometer has risen everywhere, especially in the isouth. The weather has been generally fine, but cloudjy in the northernmost districts, and on the east coast of the North Island moderate to strong south-easterly winds, have prevailed. Present indications are for increasing easterly winds northward of Kawhia and Oastlepoint, with hazy and unsettled: conditions and rain in parts. Variable winds are probable elsewhere, but principally from' the souith-east, with fair weather. The barometer has a falling tendency in the north, and is unsteady elsewhere.
