•mm - RAIN IN THE MANAWATU. By Telegraph—Press Association. Palmeraton North, Yesterday. Much-needed rain fell in the Manawatu district to-day. Farmers have been anxiously awaiting showers, the dry weather having been unprecedented for many years, All the water courses are exceptionally low.
