THE ENGLISH TEAM. SCHEDULE OF DATES. Received 6, 12.30 a.m. 'Melbourne, September 5. The allotment committee has fixed the following commencing dates for the chief matches during the English cricketers' tour: —November 10, South Australia; November 17, Victoria; November 24, New South Wales; December 1, Queensland; December 8, All Australia eleven at Brisbane; December 15, first test, at Sydney; December 30, second test, at Melbourne; January 12, third test at Adelaide; February' 2, Victoria; February 9, fourth test, at Melbourne; February I>C, New South Wales; February 23, fifth test, at Sydney; March 1, South Australia. These dates require the Board of Control's endorsement.
