At the annual meeting,of the. Patea Ttowliug Club the balance-sheet showed a balance over liabilities of £l3l lis 4d, and also a small credit balance. Mr. A. Christensen was re-eleeted president, and Mr. A. I'earce vice-president. Recommendations were received from tho chairman of committee (Mr. Gibson) for improvements to pavilion, green and surroundings in view of next, year's Taranaki tournament being hold at Patea, the whole cost totalling from £OO to £7O. Tt was decided that one item be referred back to the committee with tlin recommendation that it be reduced. With this alteration the recommendations were then adopted. Air. Christensen, president, was elected president of the tournament, and Mr. D. Taylor, president of the Waverley Club, vice-presi-dent.
