WHARF PILFERING CASES

SENTENCES DEFERRED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. Khrman, Hadden and Glover, found guilty on different charges in connection with the wharf-pillaging cases, were called for sentence this morning, but on the application of counsel were allowed to stand over until' to-morrow. Mr. Tole asked, would not sentence be deferred until after the conclusion of the case against Mclntyre, as cases had occurred where sentences imposed had some bearing on the jury? His Honor did not think it necessary that this should be done, but said this matter could be considered to-morrow.
