SUMMARY AND FORECAST. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Following is the Government Meteorologist's summary and forecast:—The barometer rose everywhere during the night, with strong but decreasing southerly winds. The weather improved and has been fine to-day generally . Present indications are for a falling barometer everywhere shortly, particularly in the southern district. Increasing haziness Will probably precede a change in the weather in most parts of the country in about 24 hours. Freshening northerly widns are expected, especially southward of New Plymouth and Castlepoint.
