Roseveare in the Weston-Totara-Ardgowan charge during his pastorate of live and a half years, and its keen regret at losing such an earnest and valued fellowlaborer. Mr. Rosevearc's teaching and preaching have been .of a high order, and we have reason to believe that his messages have been the means of creating a deep impression on the hearts and minds of his people. In all the work of the Presbytery, and in every movement; for- the uplifting of the community, he has taken his part, and it was largely through his interest in the religions training of the young that the now flourishing Presbyterian Sabbath School Teachers' Association was formed. Wft can assure Mr. Roseveare that he and his wise and amiable partner will carry with them to their new sphere of labor the respect and esteem of every member of the Presbytery of Oamaru. May they be long spared to labor in Xew Plymouth with the same zeal and success as have marked their career in North Otago.''
