Wairoa Harbor Board having obtained a loan of £78,000 has decided to call tenders at once for harbor improvement works under the supervision of Mr Leslie Reynolds, C;E. • THE UNEMPLOYED. Dunedin, Yesterday. Close on a hundred workmen are at present unemployed in Dunedin, seventy being registered on the books of the Laborers Union. They held a meeting this morning to urge puhlie bodies and the State to provide work. It is stated that twenty men questioned had, ninety dependents unable to help themselves.
