THE DAVIS CUP ROUND. WILDING WILL NOT COMPETE. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 20, 12.20 ajn. Sydney, August 25. The Davis Cup management committee has. decided that the challenge round is to be played at Christchurch on December 20 and 30, and January 1. Theaa dates are subject to the approval of England and America, but it is considered a foregone conclusion that they will accept. The secretary of the lannis Association has received a cable from Wilding that there is no chance of his representing Australasia in the Davis Oup.
