WATERSIDE WORKERS. Received 25, 0.50 p.m. Brisbane,' August 25. The Waterside workers' strike at Mackay has been settled and work resumed. The Adelaide Shipping Company has agreed that non-unionists' hours shall be limited to 48 weekly, free laborers and unionists would be kept apart, and, as free laborers left, their places would be filled by unionists. Unionists employed on the wharves at Townsville have ceased work, owing to shippers persisting in employing a number of free laborers. Pour steamers are held up.
