RUFFIANS AT WINNIPEG
A POLICEMAN SHOT.

A policeman accosted three housebreakers by daylight in a back street in Winnipeg, when the latter fired and wounded the policeman mortally. Another policeman engaged them with a revolver, and the criminals were finally captured when their revolvers were empty.
