WEBSTER BROS.' REPORT. Poultry—At the mart on Saturday we had our usual good entry of all classes of poultry, prices realised still showing an advance on the previous week, laying hens and ducks being in good demand. We still have an unsatisfied demand for all classes of poultry. We quote:— Hens (old) Is 7d to la 9d, young 2s to 2s Od, cockerels (young) Is 6d to Is Bdl others Is 9d to 2s, ducks 2s to 2s 3d, Guinea fowls 3p per pair, Dorking rooster 2s 9d; rabbits, Is 4d per pair. Fruit trees, shrubs and sundries sold nt usual auction rates. Fruit.—There has ibeen fair supply this week, apples and mandarins being the only fruit coming forward. Prices realised are as follows:—Bananas (green), 9s 3d to 9s 9d, ripe 2d lb; oranges (repacks) 1.5s to Idsj apples, Stunners 10s (id to lis, colored dessert lUs to lis, Epps' Seedlings 9s; mandarins, lis to 12s; peanuts, 2%d per lb. L. A. NOLAN & CO.'S REPORT. Poultry.—On Saturday we had a very good entry, about 50 pens being filled. Prices were well maintained, all classes meeting with good competition. We quote: Hens Is 8d to 2s Od, pullets is lOd to 2s Bd, cockerels Is Od to 2s 7d, roosters Is 9d to 2s Od, ducks 2S to 2s 3d. brood hen and ducklings 7s Od. In the mart we disposed of a large quantity of hedge and shelter plants and furniture at satisfactory prices. Fruit.—There is a good demand for all lines offering. Owing to the small shipments received last week, Nelson apples sold as high as lis 9d per case. There is also a scarcity of oranges, the.price at present being 15s per case. We expect shipments of Island oranges and baianas on Monday. We quote: Apples, Sturmers, .first grade, lis fid to Ms fld, seconds lis to lis Od, Dohertys 10s to 10s 9d; mandarins, 10s 0d; oranges, 14s to 1.55; bananas, green, 8s Od to 9s; kumeras, l%d per lb; pumpkins, 5s per cwt. I LOCAL MARKETS. Butchers' Meat. Beef: Sirloin, 6d;; prime ribs, sd; rump steak, 8d; beef from 3d to Od; corned beef, 4d ana sd. Mutton: Legs Od; chops, 6d; loin, Sd; shoulders, 6d per lb; necks, 1 3d. Veal, 3d to 5d per lb. Sausages: Beef, sd, pork Bd. Lamb: Legs, 6d; ferequarters, 4s fld; hindquarters, 5s Od. Pork: Fresh, 6d per lb. Fowls, 5s to 6s per pair; ducks, Os per pair. Dripping, 6d per lb. These prices are for oash only; %d per lb. for booking over cash prices charged, by New Plymouth one week.

General Groceries.—Rolled oats and oatina, lOd bag; oatmeal, 3s 3d per 251b bag; flour, roller, 100R), lis 3d, 501b os, 251b 3s 3d.
