THE MANAWATTJ MEETING. By Telegraph—Press Association. Palinerston N., Last Night. The Manawatu coursing meeting opened to-day in good' weather. The Waterloo Cup drew forty contestants from all parts of the Dominion. The first and second rounds left the following 'dogs in for to-day's third round, of which the draw is:—C. Down's Daystar v. D. Kennedy's Maximised'; H. Rogers' Hazel v. J. Hannah's Bijou; J. Jenkinson's Pirate Captain v. Clark Bros.' Sir Mintoj Nightingale's Deerfoot v. J. Taylor's Millbank; Morrow Bros.' Empress' De-,' light v. C. Schauer's Rulus Dawes.
