SUMMARY AND FORECAST. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Meteorological Office has issued the following weather summary and forecast:—The;barometer has risen and fallen everywhere, but with little change from last evening's reports. Moderate to strong westerly winds have predominated, and squally in Foveaux Strait. Showery weather has been experienced on all -the western coast, and about Foveaux Strait, but fair weather prevailed elsewhere. Present indications are for moderate to strong westerly winds, increasing and veering to .south shortly, Cool and changeable weather generally, and showery on west coast and southernmost districts. Barometer unsteady, but probably rising in, the south in the morning. A storm appears to be developing to the north-westward of New Zealand.
